Christy Roberts

Mrs. Christy Marie Proffitt Roberts, age 45, of Shelbyville, TN, died Friday, May 11, 2018 following an extended illness. She is the daughter of Kelley Reed Proffitt and Cynthia Gail George Proffitt.

Christy was a 1991 graduate of Marshall Co. High School and was a Medical Coder for Absolute Medical Coding Institute of Raleigh, NC. She was of the Hebraic/Messianic faith and lived her life as a believer in Yeshua, her Messiah. Christy was a life changer to the many who came to know her. Forever she will be missed here, but Heaven has gained a valiant and worthy servant.

Survived by her husband, Charles Rich Roberts of Shelbyville, TN; children, Elaura Yisrael Proffitt and Autumn Olivia Proffitt Smith; her parents, Kelley and Cynthia Proffitt of Chapel Hill, TN; a brother, Jason (Alison) Proffitt; nieces, Kelsey and Adrian; aunts, uncles, step-sons and grandsons; a host of friends.

A celebration of Christy’s life will be scheduled at a later date by her family.
