Jesse Robert Anderson

Mr. Jesse Robert Anderson, age 78, of Dickson, TN, died on Monday, January 2, 2023.  He was born in Nashville, TN to his late parents, Jesse L Anderson, Jr. and Bobbie June Dillingham Anderson.  Jesse proudly served our country in the United States Navy and United States Coast Guard during the Vietnam Era where he served as a Senior Chief Petty Officer.  After his military service he worked for the Postal Service as a rural carrier.  He was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Bachura, and brother, Michael Anderson.

Mr. Anderson loved to raise a garden.  His hobbies included fishing and hunting.  His passion was wildlife conservation and having a good dog.  His greatest love was for his family.

Mr. Anderson is survived by children, Jason (Amber) Anderson of Bells, TN, Cara June (Dan) Strasser of Chapel Hill, TN, Kristy (Jason) Bean of Dickson, TN; 9 grandchildren; sister, June (Mark) Stevens of Nashville, TN; brother, Pat (Becky) Anderson of Pegram, TN; close friends, Goldie and David Styles of Dickson, TN.

Graveside services with military honors will be conducted at 9 AM on Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN.  Interment will follow the service.
