Ada Trout

Mrs. Marie Wortham Trout, age 85, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015.  A native of Marshall Co., Mrs. Trout was a daughter of the late Ivan Clinton Wortham and Mary Ruth Marshall Wortham. She was the widow of Glen Trout who died in 2014. Mrs. Trout worked for many years as a healthcare worker and was a member of Holts Corner Baptist Church. She was especially proud of and thoroughly enjoyed her work with the U.S. Census Bureau. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Lamb and a brother, Paul Wortham.

Survivors are a daughter, Jan (Greg) West of Midland, TX; 2 sons, Jimmy (Barbara) Trout of Cornersville, TN and Danny Trout of Chapel Hill TN; a brother, Jimmy Wortham of Chapel Hill, TN; 5 grandchildren, Annie Trout, Tyler (Katie Beth) Trout, Andy West, Kate (Ryan) Horne and Maddie West.

Visitation will be Friday, December 18, 2015 from 5pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11am, Saturday, December 19, 2015 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. There will be visitation on Saturday from 10am-11am. Burial will follow at Swanson Cemetery.
