Mr. Albert Ray Neese, age 80, of Nashville, Tennessee, died Saturday, September 28, 2019 in Nashville.

Mr. Neese was born in Marshall County, Tennessee and was a son of the late Jimmie Lee and Johnnie Belle Johnson Neese. He served in the Tennessee National Guard and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Nashville. Mr. Neese was a former Cartographer for the State of Tennessee. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Rick Neese and two grandsons, Kenneth Minnick and Cody Minnick.

Mr. Neese is survived by his wife of 37 years, Athena J. Neese, Pineville OR; daughter, Cindy Neese, Shelbyville, TN; sons, Michael Neese, Salt Lake City, UT and Wilson Shannon, Smyrna, TN; brother, Frazier Lee Neese, Seattle, WA; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Family members will receive friends on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill with Pastor Otto officiating. Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery.
