Allen Moore

Mr. Allen Bruce Moore, age 88, of the Caney Spring Community of Marshall County, died Sunday, March 6, 2016 at his home in Caney Spring. Mr. Moore was born in Marshall County and was a son of the late John Andrew and Ivie Lee Adgent Moore. He was a veteran serving his Country in the United States Air Force. Mr. Moore retired after over 30 years of service with Union Carbide Corporation in Columbia. He was a long time member of Old Lasea Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 63 years, Peggy Moore, Caney Spring Community; daughters, Teresa Ray and Cindy Curtis, both of Chapel Hill, TN; sons, Gary (Sandra) Moore, Harvest, AL, Darrell Moore, Murfreesboro, TN; seven grandchildren, Jason (Brittney) Curtis, Matthew Moore, Bonny Moore, Nicole (James) Orr, Seth Moore, Josh Moore and Emily Moore.

Family members will receive friends on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Allen Cemetery in the Caney Spring Community with Tommy Hood officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Allen Cemetery.
