Amos Jones

Mr. Amos Jones, age 77, of Christiana, TN, died Friday, July 19, 2019. Born in Williamson Co., Mr. Jones was a son of the late Wiley Jones and Eva Beard Jones. He was an injection molding supervisor until his retirement. Mr. Jones loved his family dearly and his wit was enjoyed by all who knew him. He was a member of the Jackson Ridge Baptist Church in Rutherford Co. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Katherine Underwood Jones who died in 2010.

Survived by 2 daughters, Pamela Davenport of Woodbury, TN and Kimberley (Perry) Mason of Unionville, TN; a son Greg Jones of Christiana, TN; a sister, Ruth Alderson of Thompsons Station, TN; a brother, Joe Jones of Triune, TN; 3 grandchildren, Wendy (Heath) Petty of Murfreesboro, TN, Dustin (Caitlin) Mason of Shelbyville, TN, Austin Heath of Woodbury, TN; 6 great grandchildren, Preston Petty, Amelia Kate Petty, Annie Heath, Aiden Heath, Amos Heath and Tucker Mason.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 4pm-8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Thursday, July 25, 2019 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Dr. Lenny Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Glade Cemetery in Rutherford Co.

In Lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to Lawrence Funeral Home towards funeral expenses.
