Amy Ferguson

Amy Carrington Ferguson, age 44, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Wednesday, February 15, 2023 following an extended illness. Born in Nashville, TN, Amy grew up in Franklin, TN before moving to Chapel Hill. She was the daughter of Terry Neal Carrington and Pamela Sue Miskell Carrington.

She loved animals, Forrest Rocket sports, especially baseball and softball and her Blue Blaze Family. Above all she adored and loved her children so much.  Amy was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Fay Jones and her paternal grandfather, Johnny Carrington, Sr.

Survived by her husband of 25 years, J.J. Ferguson of Chapel Hill, TN; a daughter, Abby Ferguson of Chapel Hill; 2 sons, Hunter Ferguson and J.T. Ferguson both of Chapel Hill; her parents, Terry and Pam Carrington of Franklin, TN; 2 brothers Ty Carrington of Nashville, TN and Casey Carrington of Franklin, TN; her maternal grandfather, Frank Jones, Jr. of Franklin, TN; uncles, Tommy (Joann) Miskell, Scooter (Amy) Jones, Tony (Reba) Carrington, John (Tammy) Carrington, Jr. and Keith Carrington; an aunt, Pamela (Johnny) Poteete; 3 nieces, Piper, Taisley and Presley Carrington.

Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2023 from 4pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home and Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 2pm – 8pm. The funeral service will be Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 1:30 pm from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will be at Williamson Memorial Gardens in Franklin, TN at 3pm on Sunday.
