Andy Vaughn

Mr. Andy Brown Vaughn, age 93, of the Flat Creek Community of Williamson County, TN, died Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at his residence. He was a native of Marshall County and a son of the late George Anderson and Jennie Edmondson Vaughn.  Mr. Vaughn was a member of the Church of Christ where he served as song leader for over 40 years and was a lifelong farmer.  Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Kelley Vaughn in 2002 and his daughter, Audra Mae Vaughn in 2005.

Survivors include his daughter, Karen (James Prentice) Potts of the Flat Creek Community; son, Anthony Vaughn of the Flat Creek Community; granddaughter, Chelsea (Clint) Williams of Lewisburg; two nieces, Barbara Messick of Shelbyville, TN and Vanda Kelley of Lewisburg, TN.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 20, 2013 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 10 AM, Saturday, December 21, 2013 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.  Burial with Military Honors will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
