Angela Griffy

Angela Elizabeth Hale Griffy, age 48, of Shelbyville, Tennessee, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee. Angela was born in Nashville and was a graduate of Cornersville High School, Class of 1992. She was of the Baptist faith and was a health services caregiver. Angela was preceded in death by her father, William Dee Hale, Sr.; sister, Malissa Smartt, grandparents, Mathie D. and Margaret Hale, James Charles and Mattie Mae McCutheon.

Ms. Griffy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brittany Nicole-May (Justin) Epperson, Shelbyville, TN; mother and step-father, Mary and Bill May, Shelbyville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, William D. and Carol Hale, Chapel Hill, TN; her furry friends, Lilee and Pigpen; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family members will receive friends on Sunday, July 17, 2022 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Sorrells, Rev. Ray Armstrong and Rev. Nathan Hale officiating.
