Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Cooper Holton, age 87, of the Rover Community of Bedford Co., died Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Born in Unionville, TN, Mrs. Holton was the daughter of the late James Lafayette Cooper and Lula Tillman Farris Cooper. She was a homemaker and a member of Rays Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Holton; a daughter, Sheila Cooper; a brother, James Elvin Cooper.
Survived by 2 daughters, Penny Holton of the Rover community; Debbie (Reid) Rucker of Parumph, NV; 3 sons, Ricky Holton and Tony Holton of the Rover Community and Kenny Holton of Shelbyville, TN; 4 grandchildren, Fallon (Jeremy Crow) Holton, Stephanie Rucker, Danny Rucker and Corey Holton; 1 Great grandchild, Shevaeh Crow.
Visitation will be from 4 PM – 8 PM, Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM, Friday, November 18, 2016 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Hannah officiating. Burial will follow at Simpson Cemetery in Bedford Co.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made for the funeral expenses.
