Arthur Folgers

Mr. Arthur Folgers, age 70, of the Rover Community of Bedford County, died Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Folgers was born in Chicago, Illinois and was a son of the late Clarence and Eileen Ford Folgers. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Folgers retired from the security department at Nissan, Inc., Smyrna after over 20 years of service.  He was a member of Rover Baptist Church and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Folgers is survived by his wife, Janet Folgers; two daughters, Tiffany F. (Sal) Pando and Tammy E. Folgers; grandchildren,Nicolas Angel Pando, Aaron Joaquin Pando, Eryka Grace Martinez; brother-in-law, Carl Hargis, all of the Rover Community and several nieces and nephews.

Family members will receive friends on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Grooms officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community.
