Mrs. Beatrice Canady Jones, age 83, of the Haskins Chapel Community of Bedford County, died Saturday evening, October 21, 2017. Mrs. Jones was born in Bedford County and was a daughter of the late Thomas Dennison and Dora Mae Pugh Canady. She was a homemaker, former factory worker and a long time member of Haskins Chapel Assembly of God Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Emmitt Jones, who died in 2000, daughter-in-law, Teena Canady, sister, Lillian Cook, brother, Paul Canady and granddaughter, Chelle Lack.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her sons, Eddie Canady, Tullahoma, TN, Ricky (Karen) Canady, Haskins Chapel Comm., Timmy (Jamie) Canady, Haskins Chapel Comm.; brothers, J. R. (Frances) Canady, Haskins Chapel Comm., Hugh Canady, Las Vegas, NV; sister-in-law, Juanita Canady, Haskins Chapel Comm.; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren. The family of Mrs. Jones would also like to acknowledge and give a special thanks to her wonderful caregivers, Hope Cummings and Kayla Sturgeon for their kind and compassionate care.
Visitation with family members will be on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Jesse Lack officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery in the Haskins Chapel Community.
Trudy Anderson, Crissy Garner, Tony Garner, Kevin Canady, Keith Canady, and Blake Canady will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brianne Callahan and Tabitha Canady.
