Betty Allin

Mrs. Betty Allin, age 90, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Wednesday morning, January 9, 2019 in Spring Hill, Tennessee. She was born in Marshall County and was a daughter of the late Clifton and Mary Ellen Leonard Shaw. Mrs. Allin was a homemaker and, along with her late husband, were the owners and operators of the former Park Market in Chapel Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Allin, Jr., who died in 1996, and sisters, Barbara Armstrong, Mary Elizabeth "Tootsie" Cooper and Virginia Greenfield.

Mrs. Allin is survived by two daughters, Lynn Allin, Chapel Hill, TN, Betsy (Jim) Barnes, Cumberland Furnace, TN; two grandchildren, Rhonda Bennett, Darren Barnes; four great grandchildren, Hunter, Parker, Connor and Kennedy.

Family members will receive friends on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow on Friday at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. David Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
