Betty Barron

Mrs. Betty Barron, age 81, of Lewisburg, TN, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022.  She was born in Marshall County, TN and was a daughter of the late Ollie Smith Hickman and Ethel Estelle Seagroves Hickman.  She was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry “Pat” Barron in 1999, brothers, Jerry Hickman, Dennis Hickman, and sister, Kay Hickman.

Mrs. Betty loved spending time with her family and celebrating holidays with them.  She enjoyed playing Rook cards and watching the Atlanta Braves Baseball Team.

Mrs. Barron is survived by her children, Edith Johnson of Chapel Hill, TN, Mike (Cindy) Barron of Lewisburg, TN, Linda (Ken) Wharton of Shelbyville, TN, Mary Beth (Steve) Isley of Lewisburg, TN, Phil (Carol) Sharp of Lewisburg, TN; sisters, Marie Puryear of Lewisburg, TN, Edna Mae (Jimmy) Inabett of Lewisburg, TN, Kathy (Tony) Skinner of Lewisburg, TN, Connie Hickman of Lewisburg, TN; brothers, Larry Hickman of Lewisburg, TN, Eddie Hickman of Lewisburg, TN, Robert (Margaret) Hickman of Columbia, TN and Wayne Hickman of Lewisburg, TN; 8 grandchildren, Jamie (Amber) Barron, Meredith (Allen) Leverette, Chad (Lisa) Johnson, Jeanna (Ryan) Smith, Ashton (Sara) Wharton, Amanda ( Jeff) Hamilton, Preston Wharton, Cameron (Paige) Isley; 14 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Lone Oak Cemetery with Allen Leverette and Chad Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg, TN.
