Betty Fulton

Ms. Betty Jo Fulton, age 76, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Sunday, July 18, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Marshall County, TN, Betty was a daughter of the late Joe Britton and Lizzie Biggers Fulton. Ms. Fulton was a member of the Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and worked for Genesco for 39 years. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed watching the game show network, soap operas, shopping, and talking to her friends: Peggy Mayes, Peggy Edwards, Patricia Esmond, Brenda Goodrum, Susie Smith, and Jerry Esmond on the telephone. In addition to her parents, Ms. Betty is preceded in death by her brothers, Fred, Dorris and Robert Fulton.

Ms. Fulton is survived by her “Fab 5”, Darnell Fulton of Eagleville, TN, Wanda Fulton of Lewisburg, TN, Fredia (Jesse) Anderson of Eagleville, TN, Tonya Fulton of Chapel Hill, TN, Dona (Michael) Anderson of Chapel Hill, TN; grandchildren, Tiffany (David) Turner, Jalen Anderson, Tamia Northcutt, Jarvis Lyttle, and Omarion Anderson; great-grandchildren, Kinslee and Taylor Turner.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at Lawrence Funeral Home and again one hour prior to the service.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July, 23, 2021 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home at 12:00PM Noon with Evangelist Darrell Hughes and Pastor Michael T. James officiating. Interment will follow in Egypt Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
