Mrs. Betty Carolyn Sharp, age 71, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Monday, May 18, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Sharp was born in Bedford County, TN to her late parents, William and Frances Newsom. She was a waitress for 30 years until her retirement. Mrs. Sharp loved to fish, play Yahtzee and Rook, chase storms with her husband, and remodeling her house. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, William, Leslie, Doyle, Randy B.; sister, Catherine Prouty.

Mrs. Sharp is survived by her husband, Curtis Sharp, Chapel Hill, TN; children, Ronnie & Amanda Vincion, Lory & Lee Toney, and Darrell & Donna Vincion; sisters, Mary Leverette, Debbie & Patsy Newsom; brothers, Thomas Lynch, Johnny Lynch, Claude Newsom, Timmy Newsom; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; sisters and brothers-in-law, Chris & Boyd Hobbs, Bill & Brenda Sharp.

Family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2020, from 12 noon unitl 1:30pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, May 22, 2020, at 2:00pm at Cothran Cemetery with Bro. Mike Hannah officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Cothran Cemetery.
