Bettye Glenn

Mrs. Bettye Lou Newcomb Glenn, age 74, of Nashville, Tennessee, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at her home in Nashville. Mrs. Glenn was born in Williamson County and was a daughter of the late Charlie Franklin and Dewey Lacy Clark Newcomb. She was a homemaker and a member of Cross Keys Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Glenn was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and a great granddaughter.

Mrs. Glenn is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Glenn, Nashville, TN; daughters, Vicki Glenn Uhles, Smyrna, TN, Rhonda Glenn, Nashville, TN, Ashley Glenn (David) Cherry, Nashville, TN; sister, Robbie Skinner, Nashville, TN; brothers, Earl (Violet) Newcomb, Franklin, TN, Milton (Marjorie) Newcomb, Antioch, TN; grandchildren, Dana, Tiffany, Jennifer, Erica, Alison, Jim, Zeb; eleven great grandchildren; best friends, Glenda Dodd and Geneva Lynch.

Family members will receive friends on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Ryan Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Hartley Cemetery in the Cross Keys Community of Williamson County.

Jim Edwards, David Cherry, Marty Newcomb, Emit Holt, Tommy Glenn, Richard Kincade and Emit Holt, Jr. will serve as active pallbearers. Junior Lynch, Wayne Glenn and Tracy Lee will serve as honorary pallbearers.
