Bill Faulkenberry

Mr. Bill Faulkenberry, Sr., age 86, of Shelbyville, TN, formerly of Chapel Hill, TN, died Saturday, July 27, 2019 at his residence.  He was a native of Ardmore, TN, and a son of the late William Rossie and Ella Whitt Faulkenberry.  Mr. Faulkenberry was retired as an engineer for the TN Corps of Engineering.  Mr. Bill proudly served in the United States Army and was a member of the Living Stones Community Church.  He was a former member of the Chapel Hill Lions Club and enjoyed his photography.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and a great grandson, Matthew G. Woods.

Mr. Faulkenberry is survived by his wife, Yvonne Faulkenberry of Shelbyville, TN; children, Darlene (Eddie) Joyner of Shelbyville, TN, Bill Faulkenberry of Houston, TX, Michael Ray (Anna) Faulkenberry of Chapel Hill, TN; 12 grandchildren, James Michael Young, Tiffany Rollins, Jennifer Evans, Charity Faulkenberry, Ashley Totten, Ella Emberton, Rossi Faulkenberry, Justin Joyner, Carmelita Faulkenberry, Colby Faulkenberry, Joey Joyner, Courtney Faulkenberry; 11 great grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Donald (Linda) Lopp of Lawrenceburg, TN.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Reed officiating.  Interment will follow in Coleman Cemetery in the Wheel Community of Bedford County, TN.
