Mrs. Blanche Sparks, age 75, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Monday, March 6, 2017 in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Mrs. Sparks was born in Lee County, Kentucky and was a daughter of the late Sherman Barrett and the late Nannie Lunsford Barrett Dozier. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Assembly Church in Chapel Hill. Mrs. Sparks was preceded in death by her twin sister, Liza Barrett and brothers, John Barrett, Claude Barrett, Charlie Barrett, and Lester Barrett.

Mrs. Sparks is survived by her husband of 56 years, Herman Sparks, Chapel Hill, TN; daughters, Irene Brock, Chapel Hill, TN, Debra (Eddie) Phelps, Morgantown, KY, Donna (Tim) Golden, Chapel Hill, TN; son, David (Carrie) Sparks, Chapel Hill, TN; sisters, Ruth Sparks, Richmond, KY, Ruby Sparks, Richmond, KY, Evadean Collins, Irvine, KY; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a very special family friend, Jamie Karpinski, Chapel Hill, TN.

Family members will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Golden and Bro. Mike Giles officiating. Burial will follow in Derryberry Cemetery in the Flat Creek Community of Williamson County.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
