Brenda Thurman

Mrs. Brenda Sue Love Thurman, age 62, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN.

Mrs. Thurman was born in Franklin, TN, to her late parents Lonnie Edwards and Allie Mae Wilson Love. She was a member of Rockvale Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Thurman was a homemaker for all her life and loved her family dearly. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister, Sandra Ashworth; brothers, Roy Love and Danny Love; son, Terry Love; and grandson, Isaac Love.

Mrs. Thurman is survived by her husband of 41 years, Johnny B. Thurman, Shelbyville, TN; daughter, Tracy (Charles) Brannon, Shelbyville, TN; sisters, Lisa Johnson, Murfreesboro, TN, Frances (Buddy) Broadrick, White House, TN, and Shirley Love, Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Vanessa Love, Blake Love, Paige Love, Haley Brannon, Tiffany Brannon, Heather Brannon, Terry Love Jr., and Kaylee Love; great grandson, Karson Maddox Campbell; several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 29, 2019, from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Joyce Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at Carlton Cemetery in Rutherford County.
