Calvin England

Mr. Calvin England, age 26, of Lewisburg, TN, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 in Lewisburg, TN. Born in Rogers, Arkansas on October, 8, 1995, Calvin was a son of Jeffery and Suzanne Wilcox England. Calvin is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gary Wilcox and James England, and a great-aunt, Barbara Frame.

Calvin was a graduate of Columbia State Community College where he received a degree in network engineering and criminal justice, graduating Summa Cum Laude and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Calvin loved playing music, both lead guitar and keyboards, which came from his family of musicians, including his grandfather, Jimmy England; grandmother, Jerri Wilcox; great-uncles, Frank Dallas England and Earl “Bud” Tharp; and great-aunts, Barbara Frame and Annie Helms. He also enjoyed being a member of the Civil Air Patrol.

Calvin is survived by his parents, Jeff and Suzanne England of Lewisburg, TN; sister, Heidi England of Lewisburg, TN; grandmothers, Jerri Wilcox of Oakland, KY, Velma Harper Johnson of Glasgow, KY; uncles, Steve England of Columbia, KY, Johnny (Diane) London of Glasgow, KY, Gary London of Horse Cave, KY; and several cousins.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. A Celebration of Calvin’s life will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.
