Carrie Lucille Stephenson Ozburn

Mrs. Carrie Lucille Stephenson Ozburn, age 90, of Nolensville, TN, was surrounded by family when she passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023.  She was born in Williamson County, TN and was a daughter of the late J. M. “Jack” Stephenson and Ora Pulley Stephenson.  Mrs. Ozburn was a lifelong resident of Nolensville, a graduate of Franklin High School, and served as the secretary of Nolensville Elementary School for many years.  She was a member of Nolensville First United Methodist Church, and the Nolensville Historical Society.  Carrie held family and friends dear and treasured her time with them.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and lifelong love, John William “Billy” Ozburn, her brothers, Bill and Bob Stephenson.

Mrs. Ozburn is survived by her sons, Jim (Jo Ann) Ozburn of Lewisburg, TN, Mike (Beverly) Ozburn of Nolensville, TN; 7 grandchildren, Jay (Jessica) Ozburn, Laura (Paul) Beard, Stephen (Bonnie) Ozburn, Jackson (Jenny) Ozburn, Julie (Doug) Giles, Bridgette (Corey) Smith, Bryan (Jessica) Barnes; 19 great grandchildren, Jayme, Forest, Kason, and Kolbie Ozburn, Jake and Josie Ozburn, Baylann, Hattie, and Caroline Giles, Cassie and Evie Ozburn, Levi, Easton, and Abby Lee Ozburn, Lillie, Lydia, and Luci Smith, Harris and Linley Barnes; sister, Peggy (Frank) Wilson of Nolensville, TN; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 4 PM until 7 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home and on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 10 AM until 11 AM.  The funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Nolensville Cemetery in Nolensville, TN.

Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
