Charles Crick

Mr. Charles Crick, age 80, of Murfreesboro, TN formerly of Chapel Hill, TN, died Thursday, August 10, 2023 in Murfreesboro, TN.  He was born in Marshall County, TN, and was the of the late Hubert Stem Crick and Ethel Glenn Lamb Crick.  Mr. Charles was a member of the United Methodist Church and was retired from working at AVCO for many years.  Mr. Crick proudly served our country in the United States Army.  He was a graduate of Forrest High School Class of 1960.  Previously, he assisted his serving at Haven of Hope which helps victims of domestic violence.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Shelah Diane Crick, and a sister, Emily Faith Crick.

Mr. Charles enjoyed Bible word searches and reading his Bible.  He liked fishing, farming, and antique cars.  Most of all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.   

Mr. Crick is survived by his sons, Wade (Nicole) Crick of Smyrna, TN, Scott (Ashley) Crick of Spring Hill, FL; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Caperton, Andrew Crick, Ashley Crick, and Autumn Crick.

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be conducted at 2 PM on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Simpson Cemetery with Rev. Mike Giles officiating.  Interment will follow at Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community in Bedford County, TN.
