Charles Swann

Mr. Charles “Charlie” Swann, age 75, of Unionville, TN, died Friday, February 17, 2023. Born in Davidson Co., TN, Charlie was a son of the late Charles Finley Swann, Sr. and Dorothy McCormick Swann. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and currently was a salesman with Nashville Equipment Co. Charlie enjoyed Model T cars of which he had several, restoring vintage gasoline pumps and singing in church. He was a member of Rover Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Bailey Eugene Swann.

Survived by his wife of 34 years, Jana Swann of Unionville, TN; a daughter, Deborah Christine McCrary of Richmond, TX; a son, Charles Christopher Swann of Nashville, TN;  a sister, Janie Belle Brown of Hermitage, TN; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 4pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday, February 20, 2023 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home at 11am. Burial will follow at the Cooper-Lytle Cemetery in Bedford Co. Active pallbearers will be Art McCrary, Ben McCrary, Hunter McCrary, Lane McCrary, Ryan Avant, Michael Brown and Danny Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Eugene Faulk, Jeremy Sanders, Drew Sanders, Wayne Sanders and Keith Williams.
