Charlie King

Mr. Charlie King, age 81, of Eagleville, TN died Monday, October 15, 2018 in Nashville, TN.  He was born in Rutherford County, TN, and was a son of the late Charlie B. and Velma McElhaney King.  Mr. King was a member of the Church of Christ and attended the World Outreach Church.  He was retired as an electronics instructor in California and later retired from Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA). In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, William Bryan King, and brothers, Ed King, Paul King, Joe King, Richard King, and Philip King.

Mr. King is survived by his wife, Alma A. King of Eagleville, TN; children, Charles W. “Chuck” (Judy) King of Albers, IL, David Gene King of Murfreesboro, TN, Paul Joseph “Joey” King of Rancho Cucamongo, CA, Sandra Louise (Mick) Roussell of Beech Grove, TN, Cristina (Paul) Houser of Rockvale, TN, Ashley Elaine (Ethan) Bruce of Portland, TN, Evalee Ann (Moises) Feliz of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Charlotte King Ralston of Eagleville, TN; brothers, Bob King of Chapel Hill, TN and David King of Niota, TN; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home at 11 AM on Friday, October 19, 2018 with Jeff King officiating.  Interment will follow at the King-Cook Cemetery in the Rover Community in Bedford County, TN.
