Chris Ellis

Chris Ellis, age 31, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Thursday, June 16, 2016. Chris was born in Lansing, Michigan and was employed as an electrician with Empower Electric of Nashville.

Mr. Ellis is survived by his wife, Stacey Ellis, Chapel Hill, TN; daughter, Avaery Ellis, Chapel Hill, TN; sons, Alex Harvey and Christopher Vance Ellis, Jr, both of Chapel Hill, TN; father, Patrick Ellis, Flint, MI; mother and step-father, Angie and Brent Lambright, Grand Rapids, MI; step-mother, Debra Ellis, MI; brothers, Patrick (Beth) Ellis, John (Jessica) Adams, both of Chapel Hill, TN; sisters, Casey (Jud) Roper, Spring Hill, TN, Danielle (Adam) Morrell, Maryville, TN, Stephanie (Marvin) Morris, Grand Rapids, MI; grandparents, Billie Hill, Russ and Linda Hill, Al and Loretta Mead, Patti and Woody Ellis, all of Michigan, Betsy Vance, Florida; great grandmother, Jean Laraway, Arizona; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kenneth and Sally Zeller, Chapel Hill, TN; sisters-in-law, Elaine (Matt) Crowley, Chapel Hill, TN, Lisa (Jay) Raby, Allen Park, MI; several nieces and nephews.

Family members will receive friends on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating. Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
