Clarence "Slick" Crowell
August 8, 1933 — January 26, 2014
Mr. Clarence “Slick” Crowell, age 80, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 in Shelbyville, TN. He was born in Bedford County, TN to the late Thomas M. and Flossie Mae Helton Crowell. In addition to his parents, Mr. Crowell was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Carolyn Haynes Crowell. He was a retired brick and rock mason and also a farmer.
Mr. Crowell is survived by two sons, Robert Crowell of Unionville, TN, David (Patty) Crowell of Unionville, TN; a sister, Margie Crowell Brewster of Bellview, FL; two brothers, James “Kiser” Crowell of Unionville, TN, Allen Dale Crowell of Winchester, TN; and three grandchildren, Veleda Crowell, CarolAnn Crowell, and Michelle Crowell.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Lawrence Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, TN. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 1:00pm from the Chapel at Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crowell Cemetery.
