Connie Hill

Mrs. Connie Hill, age 69, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Friday, July 30, 2021 in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Mrs. Hill was born in Bedford County and was a daughter of the late William Otis King, Sr. and Jewell Elizabeth Beard King. She was a homemaker and was retired from the former Durango Boot Company of Chapel Hill. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Billy Joe “Bo” Hill, Jr.; sisters, June Upchurch, Judy Barrett; and brother, William Otis King, Jr.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her husband of 55 years, Billy Joe Hill, Sr., Chapel Hill, TN; sisters, Bonnie Cunningham, Rockvale, TN, Wanda Smitty, Milton, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Family members will receive friends on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with burial in Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.

Chauncey Cunningham, Kelly Cunningham, Tommy Upchurch, Timothy Faulk, William Otis “Bubba” King, III, Jamie Orr, J.T. Underwood and Billy Morris, Jr. will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy King, Tom Upchurch, Willie Upchurch, John Patillo, Robert Hill, Austin Smith, Hubert Smith, Jamie Wright, and Billy Morris Sr.
