Curtis Ray Beard

Mr. Curtis Ray Beard, age 30, of Chapel Hill, TN, died on Saturday, August 1, 2020, in Chapel Hill, TN.  He was born in Williamson County to the late Charles Randall Smithson and Sheila Marie Beard Emler.  Curtis worked for L2 Lamb’s Lawn Service.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Jackie Beard, Jr.

Curtis is survived by his mother, Sheila Emler of Chapel Hill, TN; children, Jarrett Curtis Beard of Franklin, TN, Zackary Holt and Quincey Holt; special friend, Leann Kelley of Chapel Hill, TN; sister, Ashley Beard of College Grove, TN; brothers, John Beard of College Grove, TN, Henry Smithson of Chapel Hill, TN, Kayle Smithson of Franklin, TN, Jessie Smithson of Franklin, TN; grandmother, Mamie Ashworth of Chapel Hill, TN; grandfather, Jackie Beard of Columbia, TN and aunt, Patricia Beard of Chapel Hill, TN.

There will be no public visitation prior to the graveside service.  Graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Cool Springs Cemetery in the Peytonsville Community in Williamson County, TN, with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating.  Interment will follow at Cool Springs Cemetery.
