Dan Skinner

Mr. Dan Skinner, age 77, of Lewisburg, TN, formerly of the Flat Creek Community in Williamson County, TN died Tuesday, May 21, 2024.  Dan was born is Franklin, TN and was a son of the late Claude Samuel Skinner and Willie Esther Adgent Skinner.  He was a member of the Methodist faith and was retired from Durango Boot Company.   In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Skinner.

Dan loved watching Page High School basketball games.  He enjoyed walking his dogs, Snowball & Riley.  Dan had a strong affection for meeting folks and making friends with everyone!   He was a loving caretaker to both of his parents until their deaths.

Mr. Skinner is survived by his sisters, Ann Smith of Springfield, TN, Betty Griggs of Friendsville, TN and Evelyn (Ray) Scott of Chapel Hill, TN; sister-in-law, Lillian Skinner of Shelbyville, TN; nephews and nieces, Jr. Scott, Danny Griggs, Joley Ogg, and Anita Hatfield.

The graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 10 AM at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN with Pastor Kelly Hamilton officiating.  Interment will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
