Daniel J Jacobs

Mr. Daniel J Jacobs, age 35, of Shelbyville, TN, died Sunday, February 14, 2021.  He was born in Rutherford County, TN and was a son of Richard Aubrey Jacobs and Cathy Marie Dalton.  Daniel was a mechanic and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Franklin, TN.  Daniel’s love for his children surpassed all his dreams.  After his accident in 2010, his love for Morgan, Isaac, and Jeanie was his whole life.  He had a passion for trading guns and cars.  He was a natural for mechanics, had a heart of gold, and would do anything to help someone in need, whether he knew them or not!  Even though his needs were silent, as God’s will was fulfilled, Daniel passed peacefully in his sleep to wake to a new dawn!  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Dalton.

Daniel is survived by his loving children, Morgan Blake Jacobs, William Isaac Jacobs, and Jeanie Marie Jacobs, all of Shelbyville, TN; mother, Cathy Dalton of Rockvale, TN; father, Richard Jacobs of Shelbyville, TN; brother Adam (Amy) Jacobs of Rockvale, TN; grandparents, Marie Dalton of Murfreesboro, TN, Joyce Evans of Shelbyville, TN, Aubrey (Marie) Jacobs of Christiana, TN; nephew, Jackson Edward; nieces, Emily Marie and Destiny Rose, all of Rockvale, TN.

Visitation with the family will be from 4 PM until 8 PM on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Lawrence Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Sasser officiating.  Interment will follow in the Whitworth Cemetery in the Link Community in Rutherford County, TN.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
