Danny Scott

Mr. Danny Wayne Scott, age 55, of the Laws Hill Community, died on Saturday, March 21, 2020, in Nashville, TN.

Mr. Scott was born in Marshall Co., TN, to his parents Allen Scott Jr. and Peggy Mai Phillips Scott. He worked at Lewisburg Grinding in Lewisburg, TN. Danny always had a smile on his face no matter the circumstance and loved classic cars, especially his newly acquired Plymouth Duster. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Scott Jr.

Danny is survived by mother, Peggy Mai Phillips Scott, Laws Hill Comm.; sisters, Rebecca (Ricky) Scott Black and Evie Elaine Clark, both of the Laws Hill Comm.; Sheila (Terry) Mai Scott Burgess, Lewisburg, TN; brothers, Tony (Connie) Scott, Section, AL, Nathan (Annie) Scott, Laws Hill Comm.; special friends, Kay Allen and Brenda Fuller; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at 1:00pm at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN. Interment will follow in Swanson Cemetery.

Considering our present health crisis, there will be no visitation prior to graveside services and family members certainly want you to consider your own health. Please know that online tributes thru the funeral home website are equally appreciated.

Matt Hutto, Nathan Black, Nathan Scott, Tony Scott, Blake Burgess, and Ricky Black will serve as active pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lawrence Funeral Home for Danny’s funeral expenses.
