Danny White

Mr. Danny White, age 66, of Lewisburg, TN, died Sunday, May 10, 2020 at his residence.  He was born in Columbia, TN to Sara Pugh Hand and his biological father, George Lawson White.  His mother later married Wilton C. Hand and together they raised Danny into the man he was.  Danny bravely served in 3 branches of the Armed Forces; Army, Navy, and Air Force.  He was active in service from 1970 until 1974 as well as the Reserves for 6 more years.  Once he retired from service, he dedicated his career as a First Responder, both as a police officer for Marshall County and Maury County, and later as a Critical Care Paramedic for the Emergency Medical Service.  He was a long standing member of the Marshall County Ambulance Service and served many other areas of Middle Tennessee.  Danny loved the UT Volunteers, John Wayne movies, Elvis, but mostly his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Lawson White, whom he had a special bond with, and his daughter, Kelly Colleen White.

Mr. White is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Leslie Patricia White; children, Jennifer White Burnet of Brentwood, TN, Daniel Colin (Megan) White of Medina, TN, Ashley (Caleb) Rose of Toney, AL, Lexie (Steven) McCandless of Lewisburg, TN; 9 grandchildren, Kayla Cothron, Becca Burnett, Eva Claire White, Emmett White, Khloie Rose, Elijah Rose, Shelby McCandless, William McCandless, and Alaina Ables.

The family will have a Memorial Service on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 2 PM at Danny and Leslie’s home near Lewisburg, TN.  Friends and family are invited to attend.
