David Ensey

Mr. David “Karroll” Ensey, age 61, of the Rover community of Bedford Co., went home to be with is Lord and Saviour, on September 25, 2020. Born in Bedford Co., Karroll was a son of the late James “Wimp” Edward Ensey and Mary Annette Brothers Ensey-Anderson. He was a self-employed carpenter and coached several youth athletic teams and was also an umpire for several schools in the region and attended the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leland and Effie Smith Brothers and Charlie and Mattie Faulk Ensley.

Survived by his wife of 30 years, Teresa “Sissie” Ensey of the Rover community; a daughter, Kaitlin Ensey of Rover; a son, David Ryan Ensey of Rover; 2 brothers, Kenneth (Gay) Ensey of Rockvale and Keith (Gloria) Ensey of Christiana, TN; 2 grandchildren, Mattison “Mattie Bell” Ensey and Harlyn (Shorty) Ensey.

Visitation will be Monday, September 28, 2020 at Lawrence Funeral Home from 4pm – 8pm. The Funeral Service will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Simpson Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are Mike Largin, Frank Brannon, Buddy Stacey, Troy Thompson, Jason Leverette and Jeff Messick. Honoray Pallbearers are Wendall Molder, Joel Burton and Eric Perryman.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Lawrence Funeral Home towards the funeral expenses.
