David Valentine

Mr. David Lee Valentine, age 63, of Unionville, Tennessee, died Monday, October 12, 2020 in Shelbyville, Tennessee.

Mr. Valentine was born in Nashville, Tennessee and was a son of the late William Herschel and Nellie Sue Satterfield Valentine. He was a graduate of the Class of 1973 at Fairview High School in Fairview, Tennessee. Mr. Valentine was a veteran of the United States Army serving his Country during the Vietnam Conflict.

Mr. Valentine is survived by his sisters, Connie (Anthony) Nicholson, Unionville, TN, Virginia (Michael) Dixon, La Vergne, TN; brothers, James Robert (Delores) Valentine, Florida, Danny Ray Valentine, Unionville, TN, William (Karen) Valentine, Kingston, TN; daughters, Brandy Greer, College Grove, TN, Katherine Garcia, McMinnville, TN; seven grandchildren; one great grandson; several nieces and nephews.

Family members will receive friends on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 11:00 am until 2:30 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at Cothran Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County. Burial will immediately follow in Cothran Cemetery.

Due to the present health crisis, all persons attending either the visitation time or graveside services are requested to please wear a face mask.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in memory of Mr. Valentine, may be made to Lawrence Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
