Dennis H. Skinner

Mr. Dennis H. Skinner, age 61, of Fayetteville, formerly of Lewisburg, TN, died on Thursday, September 3, 2020 in Fayetteville.  He was born in Marshall County, TN to the late Melvin Skinner and Ann Ring Skinner Cooper.  Dennis worked in the concrete business all of his career, with Childress Concrete then he began his own company, Dennis Skinner Concrete Company.  He loved fishing, concrete work, guns, cb radios, and baseball, especially the Pirates and Braves.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brooke Martin, and a niece, Jill Garrett.

Mr. Skinner is survived by his children, Brian Paulk of Cookeville, TN, Tracy Subers of Fayetteville, TN, Christy Skinner of Chapel Hill, TN, Jessica Skinner of Town Creek, AL; 13 grandchildren, brothers, Steve Skinner of Lewisburg, TN, Tony Skinner of Lewisburg, TN, David Cooper of Columbia, TN; sister, Lynnise James of Chapel Hill, TN.

Visitation with the family and friends will be from 2 PM until 6 PM on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Lawrence Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
