Dollie Johnson

Dollie Johnson, age 86 of Rockvale, TN passed away May 19, 2023. Dollie was born May 24, 1936 in Bedford County, TN, and was the daughter of the late Albert and Earlene Leverette. Dollie met her late husband, J.C. Johnson while working an as an operator with Bellsouth in Nashville, TN. After her career with Bellsouth she worked at Stanley Tools and then later with her husband’s business JC Supply. She was a member of Mt Pleasant Church. Dollie loved her large family and would always cook and entertain them.

Dollie is survived by her loving children, Kenny Johnson, Sherre (Marvin) Ralston, Allen (Robin) Johnson and Michelle (Brad) Harris; grandchildren, Natalie Beech, John Johnson, Zack Johnson, Michael Johnson, Brandon Haynes, Emma Ralston, Bryan Johnson, Kristen Dutton, Morganne Mitchell, Jackson Harris and Blake Harris; great grandchildren, Greyson, Jonah, Hayden, Oliver, Lilly, Brennan, Ethan, Kylie, Rylie, Isaac and Ian; brother, Junior Leverette. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, JC Johnson; son, Michael Johnson and brothers, Virgil (Dot) Leverette, R.C. (Lucille) Leverette and Wayne Leverette.

Visitation with the Johnson Family will be held 4-8:00PM Sunday and one hour prior to the service 3:00PM Monday May 22, 2023 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bobby Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow at Cothran Cemtery in Rockvale, TN with her grandsons as pallbearers.

The family of Mrs. Dollie would like to thank Sara Taylor, Jennifer Mangrum, the caregivers at Lou Lou’s Private Home Care and Alive Hospice for taking such good care of our Mom these last few years.
