Dolores Mccord

Mrs. Dolores McCord, age 95, of Eagleville, TN, died Monday, February 20, 2017 in Murfreesboro, TN.  Mrs. McCord was a native of Rutherford County, TN and a daughter of the late William Earl and Bertha Bowen McKnight.  She was a homemaker and member of the College Grove Church of Christ.  Mrs. McCord was a graduate of Rockvale High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN.  She was a member of the FCE Club.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William Puckett (Joe) McCord and her grandson, Keith McCord.

Mrs. McCord is survived by her children, Don (Ray Ann) McCord of Eagleville, TN, Jon (Janice) McCord of Florence, AL, Carolyn (Brock) Bucher of Windmere, FL; 6 grandchildren, Deborah Kennerly, Laura Sensky, Joel McCord, Lauren Bucher, Scott Bucher, Timothy McCord and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 4 PM until 7 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, TN.  Funeral services will be conducted at 10 AM on Friday, February 24, 2017 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Ed Slayton officiating.  Interment will follow in the Jordan Williams Cemetery in Eagleville, TN.
