Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Patterson, age 88, died Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at her home in Eagleville, Tennessee. She was born in Burwood Community of Williamson County and was a daughter of the late William Covington and Annie Estelle Fry Johnson.
Mrs. Dot was a homemaker and retired, having worked from1952 to 1998 as a medical transcriptionist. After her retirement, she worked from 1999 until 2018 part time for the Eagleville Drug Center in Eagleville. Mrs. Patterson loved ballroom dancing and had won many awards in ball room dancing contest. In addition, she also loved square dancing. She was an active member of the Eagleville United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by her children, Rebecca Ann Patterson, Columbia, TN, Elizabeth Jane Patterson, St. Simons Island, GA, William Alexander Patterson, Babson Park, FL: grandchildren, Jeremy Lee (Lora) Frost, Jensi Rebecca (Chad) Pendergrast, Jared Burns (Alysia) Frost, Christy Jane (Wesley Warren) Street, Brent Wayne (Tammy) Hickman, Kelly Barrett ( Josh) Faulk; great grandchildren, Ashleigh Fucci (Tristan) Carroll, Jody Street, Emily Ann Street, Gipson Lee Frost, Lillian Jane Pendergrast, Brittany Pendergrast (Adam) Wilson, Brandon Pendergrast, Brooklyn Pendergrast, Avery Grace Hickman, Presley Mae Hickman, Ethan Ewell Warren, Gavin Roy Frost, Cody Faulk, Logan Faulk, Talya Ali Palazzi, Jackson Baxter, Abi Council, Jordan Baxter, Cassidy Hulshof, Lane Hulshof; great great grandchildren, Tucker Wilson, Talmadge Carroll, Harper Mae Wilson, Evelyn Mae Carroll. Mrs. Dot was preceded in death by a grandson, James William (Bubba) Patterson, and great granddaughter, Kailee Grace Warren.
Family members will receive friends on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Demonbreun and Bro. Frank Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Johnson Cemetery in the Burwood Community of Williamson County.
