Mr. Douglas Leamon Cooper III, age 37, of New Albany, IN died Friday, June 15, 2018 in New Albany. Born in Marshall Co., Mr Cooper was the son of Douglas Leamon Cooper, Jr. and Daphane BrownTankersley who is deceased. He was a construction laborer. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Douglas Cooper, Sr, and Carolyn and Don Brown; a brother, Christopher Tankersley of New Albany, IN.

Survived by a daughter, Shyann Cooper of New Albany, IN; his father, Douglas L. Cooper, Jr of Panama City Beach, FL; grandparents, Barbara Cooper of Panama City Beach, FL.; Aunts, Dana Norwood of Lewisburg, TN, Dawn (Dale) Lovins of the Laws Hill community, Tabatha (Jerry) Thompson of the Pottsville community of Maury Co., Lori (Brad) Barcheers of the Pottsville community; Uncle, Dean (Regina) Cooper of the Laws Hill community; step-brother, Tracy Tankersley of New Albany, IN.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, June 18, 2018 from 3pm – 6pm at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, TN. No formal service is scheduled.
