Douglas Ezell

Mr. Douglas Ross Ezell, age 89, of Lewisburg, TN, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024 in Nashville, TN. He was a native of Chapel Hill, TN, and was a son of the late Ed Covington Ezell and Sonia Jamison Ezell. He was a retired welder having worked for Amana Corporation and Coats Company. Doug was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Marie Perryman Ezell in 2017, and siblings, Earl Ezell, Henry Ezell, George Ezell, Gaylor Ezell, James Morton Ezell, Beulah Giles, Kathleen Ezell, Becky Murphy, Frank Ezell, Virginia Defoe, and Finis Ewing Eatherly.

Mr. Doug loved traveling and visiting places. He enjoyed anything to do with the mechanics of everything and had a strong curiosity for taking things apart and the challenge of repairing them! He also loved to read books.

Mr. Ezell is survived by his children, Deborah (James) Pruitt of Nolensville, TN, David (Selena) Ezell of Lewisburg, TN; and sister, Doris Ezell Lowe of the Farmington Community.

The visitation and Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 2 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 1550 Bell Road, Nashville, TN 37211.  Zoom capability will also be available on Zoom, ID#661 845 1388, Passcode: 615634.
