Doyle Gattis

Mr. Doyle Keith Gattis, age 78, of Lewisburg, TN, died Tuesday, September 3, 2019. Born in Lewisburg, TN, Mr. Gattis was a son of the late Johnny Ernest Gattis and Helen Doris Collins Gattis. He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor with Heil-Quaker with 34 years of service.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Gattis.

Survived by his wife of 58 years, Wilma Gattis of Lewisburg; a daughter, Cathy Gattis Recker of Lewisburg; a son, Hershel (Woon-Jae) Gattis of MD; 4 sisters, Neva (Cliff) Thorpe and Judy (Ron) Martin, both of Murfreesboro, TN, Rita Moore and Carolyn Osborne, both of Lewisburg; a brother Rusty Gattis of  Petersburg, TN; 4 grandchildren, Gena (Chad Cooper) Gattis, Jake (Loni) Staggs, Brianna (James) Crick and Ashley Gattis; 4 Great grandchildren, Cruz Cooper, Hartley Cooper, Lyric Crick and Lily Dominguez.

Visitation will be Friday, September 6, 2019 from 4pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home at 10am on Saturday, September 7, 2019 with burial to follow at the Wheel Cemetery.
