Earl Bolden

Mr. Earl Bolden, age 76, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, died Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Murfreesboro. Mr. Bolden was born in Bedford County and was a son of the late John Henry and Mattie Eliza Sanders Bolden. He was a member of the Holts Corner Baptist Church and was a retired mechanic for Anderson Bros. of Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Bolden was preceded in death by a previous wife, Jackie Bolden, who died in 1996, his son, James Kevin Bolden and seven brothers and sisters.

Mr. Bolden is survived by his wife, Mary Bolden, Murfreesboro, TN; children, Jesse Bolden, Christiana, TN, Tina (Sonny) Whitaker, Lavergne, TN, Pam (Donald) Farmer. Lavergne, TN, Steve (Renea) Bolden, Lavergne, TN, Jason (Rhonda) Bolden, Murfreesboro, TN, David (Lynn) Swanson, Vickie (Jon) Kasten, Kim (Ken) Conkey, all of Illinois, Paul (Pam) Jarrell, Unionville, TN; sisters, Frances (James) Justice, College Grove, TN, Dorothy (David) Griffy, Holts Corner Comm.; brother, Ed (Hazel) Bolden, Murfreesboro, TN; 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 11:00 am until 2:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Chatman officiating. Burial will follow in Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community of Bedford County.

Steve Bolden, Jesse Bolden, Derek Bolden, Dalton Bolden, Tommy Beasley, Ricky Bolden, Paul Jarrell, David Swanson, Daniel Bolden and Michael Bolden will serve as pallbearers.
