Earl Hartley

Mr. Earl E. Hartley, age 81, of the Pottsville Community of Maury County, died Monday, November 23, 2015 in Franklin, Tennessee. Mr. Hartley was born in Williamson County and was a son of the late Porter Garfield and Annie Belle Jones Hartley. He retired after 37 years of service with Clark Hardware in Nashville, Tennessee. Later, Mr. Hartley worked for Crosslin Supply Company in Franklin, Tennessee until the year 2000. He was a long time member of the Allisona Church of Christ in the Allisona Community of Williamson County. Mr. Hartley was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Jackson Hartley, who died in 2002, a son, Anthony Bryan Hartley, and by his brother, Hershel Hartley. Mr. Hartley is survived by his son, Darell (Lisa) Hartley, Pottsville Comm.; grandchildren, Dannette Porter, Davidson, NC, Jon Paul Newcomb, Farmington Comm.; five great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Grace Moore, Lewisburg, TN; four nieces and one nephew.

Family members will receive friends on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Stan Butt officiating. Burial will follow in Shires Cemetery in the Pottsville Community of Maury County.
