Earl Taylor

Mr. Earl G. Taylor, age 89, of Nashville, TN, died Saturday, June 24, 2017 in Murfreesboro, TN.  Mr. Taylor was a native of Wartrace, TN and a son of the late Jacob Milton and Sarah L. Eaton Taylor.  He was retired as a residential painter and served in the Unites States Army and received the Purple Heart Award.  He was a member of the Baptist faith.  Mr. Taylor a Lifetime Member of the American Veterans and the Disabled American Veterans.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor J. Taylor and several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his daughters, Brenda Gail of Alabama and Kathy Sue of Alabama; four stepchildren; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; his caretaker and nephew, Don Taylor of Nolensville, TN; and other several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 11 AM until  1 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Lee Austin officiating.  Interment will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
