Eddie Jett

Mr. Eddie Howard Jett, age 68, of Lewisburg, TN, died Saturday, March 26, 2022 following a brief illness. Born in Marshall Co., TN, Eddie was the son of the late Howard Lee Jett and Nancy Brown Jett. He was retired from Sanford Corporation. Following his retirement from Sanford he also worked at several other jobs including working as a front end clerk at Momma’s Country in Marshall Co. Eddie never met a stranger and was always seeking to help others in any way he could. Most recently he was a volunteer for the Seeds of Hope Ministry of food distribution to those in need. His generous smile and personality will be missed by many. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death b a daughter, Marion Kay Jett.

Survived by his wife of 42 years, Mildred Ragsdale Jett of Lewisburg, TN; a daughter, Sharon Jett of Lewisburg, TN; 3 step-daughters, Lisa (Jimmy) Johnson of Chapel Hill, TN, Wanda (Frank) Gyurnek of Shelbyville, TN, Sara (Chris) Smith of Lewisburg, TN; a son, Steven (Lucinda) Jett of Lewisburg, TN; 2 sisters, Faye (Dean) Smith of Lewisburg, TN, Debbie (Stanley) Nix of Lewisburg, TN; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; nieces,nephews, and a host of friends.

Visitation will be Monday, March 28, 2022 from 4pm – 8pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 2:30pm from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
