Elizabeth Anne White

Mrs. Elizabeth Anne Wilson White, age 91, of College Grove, Tennessee, died Monday, September 28, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. White was born in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Jesse Bartholomew and Emma Pate Wilson. She was a homemaker and was the oldest member of Patterson Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. White was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Guss White, Sr., who died in 1994, brothers, Tilford Wilson, Jesse B. Wilson, Jr., James Earl Wilson, Larney Ray Wilson; sister-in-law, June Wilson and son-in-law, William Harold “Billy” Wheeley.

Mrs. White is survived by her children, Howard Guss (Mitzie) White, Jr., Murfreesboro, TN, James R. (Karen) White, Lebanon, TN, Milan L. (Joan) White, College Grove, TN, Emily (Jeff) Carman, Murfreesboro, TN, Sarah J. (David) Hartley, Franklin, TN; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.

Family members will receive friends on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Visitation will also be on Thursday morning, October 1, 2020 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am with funeral services to follow at 10:30 am from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Triune Cemetery in Triune, Tennessee.

Brandon Wheeley, Howard White III, Matt White, Eddie Hartley, Thomas Brooks, Jeremy Hubbell, Brian Clark, Jeff Lillard, Larney Wilson, Jr. and Larry Wilson will serve as pallbearers.
