Ella Hickman

Mrs. Ella Mae Whitehead Hickman, age 79, of Franklin, TN formerly of Chapel Hill, TN died Friday, April 5, 2013 in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Hickman was born in Marshall County, TN and was a daughter of the late James Eddie and Ruby Elizabeth Collins Whitehead.  Mrs. Hickman was a member of Presbyterian Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Franklin, TN #449.  She was retired from Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency as a computer operator.

Mrs. Hickman is survived by her husband, Jimmie Hickman of Franklin, TN; a daughter, Rennae Hickman (Danny) Chapman of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Seth (Kelly) Chapman, Cameron Chapman, and Lori Lynn Chapman, and a great grandchild, Grace Lynn Chapman; two sisters, Elizabeth Whitehead Wood of Lewisburg, TN and Mary Etta Whitehead Pratt of College Grove, TN and a brother, J. T. Whitehead of Franklin, TN.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Reed-Walker Cemetery near Chapel Hill, TN.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be members of Eastern Star.
