Mrs. Emily Jean Weiland, age 78, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Fri., Jan. 10, 2014. A native of Bells, TN, Mrs. Weiland was a daughter of the late Isaac Carlyle Shaw and Mary Elizabeth Wainright Shaw. Mrs. Weiland was the the Music Librarian for the former WSM morning news orchestra and for 18 years she was involved in music promotion for country music in England. Survived by her husband, Sam Weiland, Sr. of Chapel Hill, TN; 2 sisters, Beverly Buntin of Jackson, TN and Mary Elizabeth Crockarell of Memphis, TN; also survived by a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be Sat., Jan. 11, 2014 from 4pm – 7pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 1pm on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014 at Union Cemetery in Brownsville, TN with Rev.
