Mr. Frank Willard Falcon, age 89, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in Columbia, Tennessee. Mr. Falcon was born in Bedford County and was a son of the late Frank and Daisy Thorn Falcon. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 223 and the American Legion, both in Lewisburg. Mr. Falcon was a farmer and retired interior and exterior decorator having been a partner with Falcon and Newton Interior Decorators for 47 years. Mr. Falcon was a member of the United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Herman Falcon and sisters, Lena May Falcon, Kathleen F. Blanton, Irene F. Petty.
Mr. Falcon is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mildred Haskins Falcon, Lewisburg, TN; daughter, Teresa Sheryl F. (Mark) Tapley, Lewisburg, TN; grandson, Caleb Christopher Tapley, Lewisburg, TN; sisters, Ruby Ann F. Fogg, Fayetteville, TN, Sara June F. Green, Belfast, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013 from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Courtelis officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery near Belfast, TN.
